The Positive Action program meets the qualifications for many funding sources including federal and state entitlements, discretionary funds, and grant moneys. There are two main types of funding opportunities listed in this section.

Formula-based Funds includes ongoing Federal and State entitlements. The education entitlements include programs like those found within the No Child Left Behind Act. There are also community entitlement funds for programs in areas such as mental health, welfare and judicial systems.

Competitive Funding Opportunities (RFP) includes Federal, State, and private foundation grants for which Positive Action qualifies. These competitive grants are based on a variety of factors beyond financial need and are open to wider audiences.
