About Us.

Development of the Positive Action program began in 1973 by Carol Gerber Allred, Ph.D. while she was teaching High School English, Psychology and Speech. In 1977, she moved to an elementary school and began development of the elementary level of the program. In 1982, she founded the Positive Action company. The company operates out of four locations in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Dr. Allred has continuously expanded and improved the program into today’s nationally and internationally acclaimed evidence-based Positive Action program. The program has since been used in all 50 states and internationally, reaching over 25,000 schools, community-based organizations, and other sites; over 8 million students.
